Sabrina Devlin - Author's Note

I grew up in California and lived there for most of my life. I now live on the east coast, which I never would have imagined in a million years. My husband came home one day with a great job opportunity and we both decided to just go for it. Next thing we knew, we had a baby on the way and a whole new life, 180 degrees from the one we'd been living!

My husband spent a year of our marriage in Afghanistan fighting the war and I was very blessed that he came home safe. After that gut wrenching time apart, we've taken the opportunities that have presented themselves and made the best of them. You have to grab life with both hands, hold on and enjoy the ride.

We trust God in all that we do and we've learned that sometimes you can't even imagine the wonderful things God has in store for you. They're bigger and better than your own dreams for yourself might even be. With God, the possibilities are endless.

As for finally fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a writer, there is one thing I've learned and would like to share. Never let go of the dreams in your heart.
